Its a bummer seeing you CA guys having to peddle all of these lead bullets. A sign of the times, I guess.......... I hope you find a market for everything that you have for sale. -BCB

Texas was one mentioned, along with Or, Wa, Id . I sure would not like to see this farce continue with other states. But you know how these people are that are against so any of the items that we in the shooting sports use. Bill K |

I haven't started reloading the lead free yet. I have been doing a ton of work setting up my new shop, now a cold, but I need to work up loads soon. I think I am going to start by shooting some 2 yo lead ammo and verify groups, then using a Hornady collet puller I just purchased, just swap out the bullets and see how they compare, using the same seater setting. I'll have my shooting pit available if it dries out in a week to shoot undisterbed, vs sac valley shooting center.
That's my plan. |

If Texas becomes like CA it will only be because we can't seem to keep the CA folks from coming here and bringing their wacko ideas with them. Maybe eventually they'll outnumber the Texans who live here. In the interim, I'm not planning to begin rounding up a lead bullet inventory for any needed sales just because of "some reports" designed to make me believe something other than reality is about to take place. Folks in other states shouldn't buy into those same reports either. Its silly to do so..... Yet that doesn't mean that anyone should have their head in a sand bucket waiting to choke on the sand. It even appears that some folks who are on the receiving end today of some of these reports hope that they can soon say that other folks in other places are just like them. All that said, I still think its a bummer that CA resident are having to do this. And thanks for the report, Bill. Allen, its good to see that you're getting your inventory sold. -BCB

BCB: It is not just the Ca boys moving there, I know some that don't want the lead ban and don't support any such thing and they moved to Texas. It is the present day politicians in most government offices and they are following the agenda of the Envro's in banning a lot of things, including any thing with lead in it. Just like they did mercury, plastic straws and a host of other items. They are all nut/fruitcakes, but they seem to have the money, power and make things like that occur and they are spreading. Sad to say. Bill K
Allen: As for the lead free, when you get checking them out and find loads, I think you may be very surprised how well they shoot. I know myself and a shooting buddy have not really cared about the lead free ban, as these things shoot as well or better and they sure do a number on the critters we shoot. Keep me posted on your results and findings. Last edited by Bill K; 01-30-2020 at 06:54 PM. |

One think I would like to add here is the fact that my county, Lassen co. in N.E. Ca is the first county to declare it's self as a Second Amendment Sanctuary. I sure hope other counties in this state follow suit.
If you can google or find a copy of the Lassen Co Times newspaper, it had a story on the front page this last Tuesday issue. So N.E. California is doing what it can too buck the fruitcakes in Sacramento politics. Bill K |

It good to hear that Lassen County CA is taking a lead from VA, even though its a little bit too late in terms of Lassen County. Sorry we didn't meet up at the rally in VA last week. -BCB
