17 Hornet, 22 Hornet, 17 Fireball, 221 Fireball, 17 Remington
I have rifles chambered in 17 Hornet, 22 Hornet, 17 Fireball, 221 Fireball, and 17 Remington for my walking varminters/small game guns. I know I have alot of overlap and I am trying to justify keeping them, but I may send some down the road. Let's hear some opinions on what to keep and what to sell.

Unless you need the money or don't use them I wouldn't sell any of them.

Unless you really want to thin the larder or need to sell.
I would say no, keep them all, for now anyway, the way things are going. |

I just sold my 204 for more than double what I had into it. It got me to thinking about letting a few more go while it is a seller’s market.

Just about anything 222 or 222 based is never a bad idea so you can't go wrong there.
You could always take one of your Hornet actions and turn it into a 20 Hornet. The 17's are fun and I had a 17 Rem in a CZ 527 Varmint for awhile but it just never tripped my trigger so I sold it. I tend to like the 20's a little better than the 17's. I have two CZ 527 Varmint model 17HH and for the last couple years I've been flirting with the idea of turning one into a 20HH. A 20 Hornet shooting something like the Hornady 24gr NTX bullet could be a fun one. |
