Default Cz 17 hornet varmint

I just purchased this gun. Gonna mount a Leupold 3x9x40 on it. Can someone tell me my best option for rings? Thanks!

Talley makes rings for it as-does Millet. I've used both. I prefer the millet.
The Talley rings I received did not line up square to the scope & torqued the scope tube.
I suppose I could have purchased the alignment lap, but just boxed them up - about 15 years ago.
They're around some where - haven't seen them in years. Maybe I tossed them.

CZ has rings/mounts that work just fine, for your rifle.

I agree with what Bill K said. I have used the CZ rings on both my CZ 527s and my CZ452. Just make sure you get the right size for your action model.

Yes, very important. Read your manual and/or measure, you probably will find you need the 11mm base.

I have been pleased with the Burris rings. Free shipping with promo code FSCYBER49 and $49 or more order.

Left to right, Calhoun, Warne Medium, Warne Medium QD, Leupold Medium, Talley, Warne Tall, CZ Medium, and Burris Medium. The CZ 527 dove tail is 16mm. The lowest rings (Calhoun and Warne Mediums) have been known to cause bolt handle interference with the older/taller bolt handles and scope oculars. With a 3-9X Leupold and the new style bolt handle I think (dont actually know) your okay with any of them.

The 11mm is on the 457's, I believe. My bad.

All the rings and heights you would ever want to use are listed on the CZ website - 3 pages worth.
