Hal
Years ago I machined a brass sleeve and modified a steel seating plug for my 17 Rem. There's not too much to them.

I'd contact RCBS and see if they have a 17 caliber sleeve and plug, as they are pretty much universal for all 17 caliber cartridges.

The seating plug is RCBS P/N 57162, but I can't find the part number for the sleeve.

Tweezers, hemostats, needle nosed pliers? Someone, maybe on here, modified a pair of pliers or hemostats, something like that. Essentially it had a set of blocks added that would grip small bullets.

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

If you have a Wilson seater die and you try this it is pretty slick. Again, you use an arbor press to complete the seating.

Nothing to do with the copper bullet wearing or possibly wearing the die - that won't happen. The wear comes from putting in and removing the steel seating stem for every bullet. I thought that was obvious.
Silly me.
