Default Howa scope base

Looking for suggestions on a scope base for Howa mini actions. Not having much luck for availability on-line. I would prefer a 2 piece set up. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what they use, but the howa mini's I have came with scope bases on them. You might contact Legacy Sports in Reno/Sparks Nv and see what they use and purchase some from them.

They look too me to be on the order of Leupold type.

If you want 2-piece bases then any R700 bases will work--they are just closer together. Rails or 1-piece bases need to be Mini specific...

IIRC they use R700 bases. I put Burris Tactical bases on mine which gives you a weaver/pic type setup and then use Burris Signature rings.

We have two piece Weavers for Remington 700 on ours. There is a picture under my post about my kids' new gun in under project guns forum that shows how they sit.

Now that others have mentioned using Remington 700 as a base, I recall ads saying Howas use the Remington base measurements.

Our rear base overhangs the ejection port a bit. If that concerns you, I'm sure there are different brands available and there will be one that is clear. Not a big a deal with a detachable box magazine fed rifle as it has been with rifles that are fed through the ejection port in a couple instances for me.
