Default Purchasing target paper

I prefer Mountain Plains targets, and really like the paper they are printed on. It cuts clean holes and holds up well. I save targets in three ring binders.

However there are printable targets that I am pretty fond of that I would like to print on the same paper, but do not know what to ask for. Does anyone know what that paper is labeled as? I wouldn’t mind buying a case of the tan paper that other targets are printed on as well, if I knew what to order.

Black spots and printing shows up better
on bright white. I just use typing paper
for such things. Lots cheaper too, Might
not be as tough. bullet holes show up better too.

Easy to see dirt clods too, HA!

I've used 65# card stock for years, most printers handle it fine, cuts clean holes and is easy to punch three ring binder holes in, same size as copier paper just heaver stock.

I use the tan file folders that you can buy in bulk at Walmart, Staples etc.

I either cut them in two so they fit in the printer or just use the stick on Benchrest Targets I get from Brownells. They store nicely in the file cabinet.

Staples Card Stock. Only problem? If you print from your home printer and the targets get wet, they run.

Default Card stocks

Walmart has a package of about 140 sheets. 8 1/2" X 11". Package might have shrunk by now. Makes good holes. Rugged.

White construction paper and rubber target stamps work well. The holes are well defined and easy to measure....like this:

I use blue 40 lb. paper. White plays with your eyesight, as per my eye doctor.

I have a target with multiple benchrest size rings printed on them, just the mothball and the nine ring, one size for 100 & another for 200 and I get it printed on a white paper that we use here in NZ for Benchrest targets.

I stopped keeping targets a long time ago, if I didn't throw them out I'd have a room full of them by now.
The only targets I've kept are the ones that are measured as records in competition......that takes up a lot less room.

Prior to that I used to get benchrest targets or score targets and use the stamp that Al showed in his post, you can fit a lot of those on the back of a target.

I use a spiral artist sketch pad with stick on red dots. The artist sketch pad is about 16"x20" and it is a thick paper. Just peal one of the pad and stick the dots on where ever you need them.

I've used one dot up to around 8 or so depending what I'm trying to do. I like the dots since they're shoot n see dots and makes it very easy to see at a distance.
