Default Made my first bullets (Video added)

I was fortunate enough to buy a set up from Ken Livengood as he decided not to make bullets any more. I got my presses set up, and a good friend help me get my dies set up, and I made my first few bullets last weekend. I am going back to his house and will fine tune everything this weekend.

I now am well on my way to making my own.

Default Nice bullets

Along with the brass you make you're going to be a step ahead of most folks would be my guess.

And he is still helping me. I feel very fortunate that I was able to do this. I made a few videos of the up front work.

P1, That's a lot of work but the output is quality and consistency. Thanks for sharing the videos. As an aside, I can't imagine how tedious it is to make the tiny .17s. Hog

Default and I shot them

Finally got to get out and shoot some. I know these targets are not great, but I only pointed up 25 and then loaded them just touching. I will play more with seating depth as I get time.

They shoot a little different than my 116 - 7 ogives that I normally shoot.

This is my last 8 bullets. I meant to leave 10 to shoot in 2 groups, but got side tracked.

Group on left is 3 shot, group on right is 5 shots.

Impressive. One way of making sure you won't be caught by any shortages.

Default .3083"

Since I do not have a mic that measures below 3 digits, I sent 5 bullets to a guy and he measured them for me. He said they were .3083".
