the trigger is adjustable from 1.3 to 3.5#. i think cz made a mistake when they offered the 22 Valkyrie with a 1-6.5 twist, lot more varmint hunters than long range target shooters.
the lux looks like a cross breed between the old cz 527 lux (euroa style) and the 527 america. not as ugly as the old lux but not as lovely as the 527 american. that said you may like to be seen in public with a pretty girl but that doesn't mean you wouldn't kiss a not so pretty one in private. interchangeable bolt faces and barrels are kool. i would like to see a lux in a 224 Valkyrie in in a 1-9 twist or maybe a 1-12.

Most likely, they seem to be following the current Euro trends in styling and modularity, I've got 8 527's and 3 550's so am not likely to jump on the bandwagon. Some of the features do sound quite interesting.

Got another feed last night, and there is an article in Outdoor Life about the CZ 600 rifles. More details included, but I didn't catch the link to the article.

Will be interesting and I do hope they offer other cartridges, especially some of the 20 Cal to 6 MM's. |

No more 300BO or 6.5 Grendel chambering... at least no mentioned

Just my guess/opinion, but with the way the barrel attaches, making a chamber short enough for a 221FB, Hornet, might be a concern. I haven't seen enough details and dimensional info on the new rifles yet. Glad I have both a 22 Hornet and a 221FB in the the 527.

Sent a text to my buddy that works at CZ. The .224’s are all 1-7” twist
In a nutshell on the .224 1-7” twist. CZ supposedly did a survey of US ammo and a 1-7” twist was the most accurate over all. My problem with that comment the way it was put to me is, how many other twist were tested and in what calibers exactly? If all but two used a 1-7” twist, why heck yes they look better Even though it’s listed as a mini, it’s not. More like a SA 700. He says the triggers are better than the 527’s. Will be next year before any hit the shelves. There are only 5 in the US at this date to my understanding. |

interesting
Sooo, 600 is the new mule kicking in the stall for CZ. Being a big fan of their rifles I guess it's time to stock up while the distributer inventories are up. The all steel/wood rifles of the 527 and rimfire lines have always appealed to me. Time to get shopping.

Sorry to hear about the .224 calibers being all 1:7. That will leave out a bunch of hunters who want a walk about rifle, not a bench rifle shooting at steel plates at 600+ yards. A small varmint rifle using light bullets will be left out unless they will reduce the load to keep from blowing up bullets from too much twist.
