Austin, I cant believe that your Ruger 77 17WSM is accurate because mine is, and there's no way that there are two of them that are accurate in the same world. I mean, after all, they're Rugers...............

Good job on the acquisition.

Nice score on a good shooting Ruger .17wsm, in my area at least thats a tough combination to find. I've got my MGM barreled .17wsm now and my .17 Hornet shoots as well as I could ask for. We don't have the abundant supply of targets you folks get so for the occasional Ground Hog or Fox, Coyote I'm fixed. Is yours one of the newer 20" barreled models?

Hey Gerald,
It's the 24" Varmint barreled version...........serial number dates it to 2018, so it's recent production.

Seems well put together. Must have been assembled on a Tuesday

Default Ruger

I heard CZ is making all Rugers now😂 the guy at the gun shop only had 3 boxes of the old Federal Sierra load😔 for hunting greys an fox squirrel that will last me a few seasons! I think it's as close as match grade for the 22 magnum as it gets! My highly inaccurate Ruger VMBZ loves the stuff!

You know the old saying......"Even an inaccurate Ruger occasionally hits a blind squirrel"

That match ammo may be your only saving grace

Default Federal 30

Not as explosive as the new TNT loading , but in accuracy dept nothing could touch them! Sierra did a good job designing that bullet for the 22 magnum!

I've never ran across the 30gr Sierra loading..........if I do, I'll be sure to pick some up. Your not the first person that's held them in high regards.

I sure do love the 30gr TNT loading though!! Accurate and explosive outta my Ruger.

Sounds good, can't argue with good results.
