Default 20 Practical X-Terminator/32 gr vmax Load data

Somehow I lost my load data for the 20 Practical for the AR-15 upper I got from Adam. I couldn’t even remember if it was X-Tetm or Tac.

Finally settled on a load of 26 gr of X-Term using the 32 gr vmax and seated to fit the magazine, 2.250. I was looking over the 20 tactical loads for a reference.

I was surprised to see a nice group dead on vertically but it was about 2-1/2” to the left? Must not have been the same load or someone messed with my scope lol

Waiting on warmer weather and no snow to shoot some more with it.

Meantime if anyone has any Ramshot load data I’d be interested.

Default 20 Practical X-Terminator/32 gr vmax load

GL. My western reloading book shows start load of 24.0 & max load 26.6 with the 32 grain bullet. This is for a 20 Tac, but that load data can be used with the 20 Practical also. If this helps. Bill K

Keep in mind X-Term and 2230 are the exact same powder these days.

If you are familiar with H335 and BLC2 2230/X-Term is a scootch quicker than H335 and TAC is close to BLC2.

Default 20 practical loads

IMR 8208 XBR works well also, with 39 & 40 bullets in my bolt gun.
