I’ve got two. One in a Howa mini with the 20” lightweight barrel and an AR with the 20” stainless fluted barrel from MidwayUSA(Bear Creek I believe). The mini shoots anything and everything I feed it moa or better. The AR is a little more picky but I did find a load that shoots sub moa with CFE223 and 120gr BTips. It’s one of the neatest little cartridges I’ve had. I plan to kill a deer with it this year using the 120 BTips.
Do you have a model in mind? |

I have one in an AR15. It will be used to kill an antelope and a couple of whitetail deer this season. I'm also working on an ultra lightweight AR15 that will be a dedicated predator rifle (wolf mainly).
It's a great cartridge! |

Have a 20" barreled AR and a factory CZ527 with a 24" barrel.
The AR shoots just about anything well, the CZ is a picky rifle. Trying to get the CZ to shoot 129 gr. Nosler LRAB, so far it's a toss up between CFE223 and LVR. John |

6.5 Grendel
I picked up a Ruger American in 6.5 Grendel. Stock looks good for a synthetic, trigger guard is formed with the stock. Bolt is quite long for a small cartridge, also large in diameter. Magazine is steel 10 round. Plastic follower.
bolt operates smooth. barrel is about the size of a CZ varmint, not too heavy and not too light. Trigger feels nice. Bought it for another customer. If he doesn't get here soon and take it, I may have to try it out. |

I have a CZ 527 that shoots very well but I've not used it on game so far, a 24" Alexander Arms Overwatch upper on a Armalite lower and a 18" BCA upper on a Spikes lower. None have shot anything but paper so far, I have friends who are pleased with its performance on Deer out to 300 yards so I have good expectations.
