The BLM is posting these signs in my area. Hopefully it will help. When I showed this photo to my wife the first thing she said is "at least it's not shot up." When I run across someone dumping trash I take a lot of photos and tell them if they clean it up I'll forget about it, otherwise I'm turning the photos over to the sheriff. I also ask them to pickup some of the other junk while they're at it. My wife is afraid one of them is going to shoot me!

"My wife is afraid one of them is going to shoot me!"
You carry a gun? No problem.

About 15 years ago, I was at a public range, shooting my old slow lock Win M52 22lr target rifle. Only two lanes in use, and I kept seeing my target stand move in the wind. Two lanes over, a couple of Yahoos were shooting an AK, trying to cut my target stand in two. I looked at them, and they were chuckling between each other. I stood up looking at them and they saw me put my 1911 on my bench, and they got the message fortunately. I stopped going to that range.

That sign had just been put up is the only
reason it's not shot up.
You need to go back and take another look/picture now.

Funny things about guns and jerks. Late wife's ex and I were having
hassles over the step dau. She'd irritate me and go running to him til
he got on her case and she'd come back.
One day she told me: "My Dad said he's going to shoot you!"
"What with?" "his .32 automatic". I told the wife, call Bob and tell him
to come down here we need to talk. "make him sit right THERE!"

I laid my .45 Colt Blackhawk with bright shiny HP's facing where I wanted him to sit.
He kept looking at it, right into the cylinder from less than 4'.
I never heard another word about him going to shoot me.

It's a society thing. (not my job ) Just went by a turnout around the corner. Some LAZY scum bag left their garbage there. Funny thing is, we're maybe 5 minutes from the FREE dump. Just too much trouble to pick up their mess.
A few minutes in front of a Judge, a sentence of picking up garbage along the road for about 6 months just might have an effect of garbage dumping?

On that same road, property owner had to put up an 8' fence to keep the low life garbage dumpers from throwing their trash over the bank onto his property.

Walmart cart corral two parking spaces away from a cart someone left in the empty spot next to where they parked. Same with fire lane, multiple vehicles parked with driver surfing their phone. Personal and civic responsibility? Good luck.

"Walmart cart corral two parking spaces away from a cart someone left in the empty spot next to where they parked".

Look at some of the folks that shop at Wally World. Really makes you wonder.

Leaving carts in the next space is just plane LAZY. Must have used up most of their energy punching buttons or talking LOUD in the store about NOTHING on their smart (?) phones??
A little exercise walking the cart over to the proper space would probably do them good?

It IS a society thing and it sure as hell won't be getting any better any time soon. That's the sad part.
