Default Government Hunter

I've seen people use this term on other sites. Normally used when someone is enquirying about hunting varmints in a particular area. Would our western members enlighten me on this ? Is there such a job as Government Hunter ? How do you locate one if there is ? Thanks and Happy New Year.

Default Gov hunter

If there is one in your area, some counties/states do hire them, check with your local game warden, they will know. BIll K

In some areas in Montana they have Government (state)Trappers that take care of problem predators or a rogue beaver or two.
Some counties use to have a trapper on the payroll. I'm not sure if there are many county trapper left with the decline of the sheep industry.
