I have a .20 Tac with a 1x11 Krieger barrel and it shoots all the 40's just great, maybe a slight edge to the 40 Berger.

RickinOregon, looks like you have a really good start for an article in SCN.

this is the reason I ordered my barrel in 1:11- so i can choose what projectile I want to try and know it will be stable.

Still haven't chosen whether it will be a 20 PPC or a 20 Tac or Prac- but at least the barrels on order
later

Default Thanks to all!

I'd like to thank all that replied to my original question regarding the 11 twist 204 barrel, it confirms my decision that it was the right choice given my intent to shoot the 32's to the 40 grain bullets well.

After talking again to Todd Kindler yesterday also, the neck dimension will be per his PTG Dwg 5553, yielding a .230" "no-turn" neck. By the way Pat Cameron if you're reading this, Todd wanted to mention to you that he got lucky yesterday and bagged a coyote near his place with his Tac 20.

Todd also bugged me again to pen an article for SCN on our small caliber ground squirrel fun we have here.....you guys have reaffirmed that I think I will indeed do that.

To keep the fires buring in anticipation of the spring green-up, here's a shot looking down the firing line at one of our last shoots this past season. On my bench in the foreground is my M700 Holland-built (Pac-Nor/McMillian/Jewell/Lupy) .223 Ackley cooling down from a bout with Skippy. The sunburned fellow is our host, little Dickie Dobbins. The next bench has Garth Kendig from Leupold launching a squirrel with his .223.

Again, thanks to all of you for responding....I can now meet our furry little buddies with complete confidence with my new 204.

That's McMillan's Winchester Marksman stock, inletted by Holland for the M-700 SA.

I've got it's sister on an almost identical Vee-Block Holland rig in 243AI; great stocks, rides the bags very well, but still well suited to field use.
