my stock was modified with bondo and epoxy. When it came back I didn't see any tracer marks. But they did add a tab at the forend in the barrel channel. Don't know if they do that to all stocks. You might want to talk to John Maxson or Wenig and ask the question. There was little work before I started sanding.
