Let us know how you like it. Be interested to hear if you can good a decent cheek weld with the Hogs back stock. To bad Anschutz has cut way back on the LH models they make.

I used to have a 1712 in 22LR, maybe 20 years ago. Lovely gun, very accurate, only down side for me was the rotary safety on the back of the bolt was awkward for my small hands. Never should have sold it but rabbits were so numerous I needed a semi.

I will update this thread, as rifle arrived, a few weeks back, first few shots yesterday, as i was away salmon fishing.
Its a solid rifle, with very nice wood, feeds smooth as butter and the mag is a improvement on my CZ's, easy to load, and smooth feeding,
Was a bit concerned, about the hogs back stock, after Dean commented on it, no problem, its got little drop, and eye lines up perfect, with the Nikon, 2x10x42.
gave it a clean, and loaded sum 20gr Hollow points with 12.5gr black out, and 25g v-max with 11.3gr black out. streached out the length to 44.85mm, 25 v-max.
Can it shoot, (hell yes).
First five shots at 50m were 3/4 inch, Hornady 20gr.
out to a 100 M and got, .360, .401, .419, with 25 v-max, five shots each, 20gr hollow points, 550 and .655 (7 shots) more affected by the wind.
Factory Federal 20gr gave a .416 group.
I've not owned a rifle, so accurate out of the box,

Default 17h

Looking at the Anschutz 17H on Gunbroker, think the place is Accusport. I have a couple of Anschutz 22h, and both are very accurate.
Yes, I’m back in Mn. I have a high school friend in Parker Co that has access to some PDs in eastern Co. He and I shot there one day. I went to eastern Wy and shot this past May. Had a good shoot and will go back there again next May. Likely won’t go to Co for PDs, as SD and Wy are much closer.
Regards
