I just reread this compadre, man what an experience. When Candi told me she almost lost ya I see why she was so shaken! Thanks for being the fighter you are, we got stuff to do yet . You are sure right about prayers, they do matter.
God Bless you guys.

Default hmm..

My wife's a nurse, handed my phone to her and said "what's this mean?" She read it, eyes opened and she said, "tell him to go buy a lottery ticket, he's one lucky man!"

In the mist of this entire tragedy there is a slice of humor. The Doctor who was holding the Paddles had leaned over and whispered to me "If you want to go just go, don't suffer". This was as I was going in and out. I thought this was beyond a lame statement being I was fighting to stay alive. Latter when it was all over I told my wife what she had said. My wife then informed me I had just told her I had to go to the bathroom.

When you told me what that Doc had said that first day home I thought to myself, "That sure ain't a Doctors position to be saying that", Kinda ticked me off at him to tell ya the truth! Now it all make sense and like we talked about, ya gotta keep that sense of humor working and that is indeed funny ! Talk about crossed messaging .
Hope yer feeling better today and better still tomorrow!
