Primer strength/power varies between manufactures within the same size, be it SR, SRM, LR, or LRM. I think the term is brizzience but I know I didn't spell it correctly. If you are near the pressure limit with a certain powder charge, changing only the primer can have a significant effect on the pressure. The effect is more pronounced on small capacity cases. Will it blow up you gun, not likely. Will you see brass flow into the bolt face or increased primer cratering/blanking, potentially. Always a good idea to back down a touch if changing components or powder lots unless you are very confident that max pressure is still a long ways off.
