Humm, reading all this makes me wonder about my pristine (99%) L461 Vixen .223 residing in the safe. Have no real plans for selling, but seeing the prices these babies are now going for makes a guy wonder......'should I'? ......

I have one each of the .378 bolt face/.224" L461 family in 222, 222 Mag, and 223 - all also in pristine (95%++) condition - and mine aren't going anywhere. My .223 doesn't have even a little mark on it anywhere. The other two you have to look very closely for simple, very minor handling damage over 30 + years. All of them shoot too well to unload them. Once gone its gone........

But that's just me........

Oh so true, and most likely the reason mine shall remain there, center, third row back. I know only too well the "gone" thing....let's not go down that road right now.

What was I thinking?

I just have an L461 varmint barrel .222 and it probably would be my last to go. I have 2 of the L46's but they are not as purdy.

My mix is different, but the same sentiment. L461BR single shot in 17M4, a repeater in 17 Rem, and a A1 in 223 Rem with near presentation wood on it. If you like walnut and steel rather than polymer, almost anything worthwhile has nearly doubled in price in the last ten or fifteen years.

Default Peep sights

I have 1 or 2 of those peepsights laying around, nice things they are, but my Sako rifles all wear scopes.

If the winner needs one to complete the package, I could help you out.

Default Sakos

I bought some AI actions and rough rifles few years back. I now have customs in 17Rem, 221 FB, 223, 22 ppc 6 ppc. Had a 222 and 20 VT and was stupid enough to sell them.
Great actions/ rifles.
