IMR4198 and use in 222/223 has been around generations. Always has been one of the powders for accuracy guys in these calibers.

My IMR4198 that I have on shelf is a long stick type powder. Does not meter as nicely as some of the newer powders; but have not bought any new for a while.

That powder ain't Old, it is
PREHISTORIC.....

Wow. Prehistoric indeed. I have a can that was dated 1971, and it had a $7.25 store sticker on it.
