Default Ramshot Enforcer in 17 Squirrel

Anyone try Enforcer in the 17 Squirrel? Looking for a good starting load.

I start with 9gr in the Mink, so 6gr wouldn't be bad, Gary W. probably has better load data. Adam

I’m sorry but I have no data. must have a bug in my excel files, my 20 BR is the same way, the icon is not green like all the rest???

Anyway I did a search here and found some info but it doesn’t have much for load data.

http://www.saubier.com/forum/showthr...squirrel&page=

I like to use WSP, 6 ½ and sometimes WSPM primers. If I come across some hard copies I’ll let you know. if I had time I would go load 50 up and give you something to go by

I have always been told \by multiple guys that with the 17 squirrel 296 and 6 1/2s are the only way to go??? All I can say is since I got started using Ramshot Enforcer back in the 90s I just don’t find a good place to use 296 very often….

As of right now I have two 17 Squirrels and one will be going Mink if I ever find the time and money to do it!

Gary, thanks for the info. I have my brass mostly formed and was trying to decide if Enforcer was what I want to use for a powder. After what you've said and reading Adam's praise of Enforcer, I think that is the way I will go, at least to start. Thanks again, Craig

Enforcer is great in the 17 squirrel and my 22 Fox Squirrel! Enforcer and win 296 are the go to powders for the 17 squirrel. I have shot 8 and 8.2 of the enforcer in the 17 squirrel. start low and work up in your gun.

HillbillySniper, Thanks for your reply. I will start low and work up. Did you use 8 and 8.2 with a 20 gr bullet? Craig

What is a 22 Fox Squirrel?
I have a 17 Squirrel on a Mod 82 Kimber, done by K Weaver
And another on order from Cooper.
Been thinking about a 22 Squirrel.
Would like to learn a little more about yours.
Thanks,
