I think y'all will get better results shooting the 40 gr bullets in 20VT with AA2200. I don't do it now, but did try some loads with 40's & AA2200 and IIRC they did right well at somewhere between 3550 & 3650. I decided to stay with the 32's in my fireball based cases for 350 yds or so, then go to the larger 20's for on out to 500 using the 40's. It has worked well for me; talking PD's here.

I use the 32 Noslers at 5,000 and they work really well on most anything you hit with them.

i used a 32gr hornady vmax and a 32gr nosler varmageddon and they were .2 - .3" at 100 yards. now i use a 34gr midway(or is midsouth) dogtown hp and it a .2 - .3" at 100 yards too.
it is a 1 in 12" twist.

While it hit the same velocities as CFE Black it had some bolt click at the top not experienced with CFE Blk. Accuracy was similar however the edge still went to CFE Blk in the rifle tested. However I was dealing with a 2 lb 5oz trigger which could easily account for the difference, since I am accustomed to a 2oz trigger on my personal BR and PD rifles.

I will have to try the CFE BLK in the 20VT w/32 gr bullets. I was under the impression that AA2200 was a bit slower than CFE BLK. I use AA1680 in my 221FB and the CFE loads almost identically in that cartridge with 40gr in my limited experience with it. Thanks, Joe
