Setting up a sizing die with a Tikka Rifle
Hey,
When setting up a rifle for full length sizing I have always removed the striker assembly so I can feel the bolt close on the brass and adjust the die accordingly. I recently acquired a Tikka M595 and it looks to me, if I remove the striker assembly then the bolt handle comes off as well. How do you set up your dies with this kind of set-up? |

Were it I, I'd use a comparator (Hornady, Sinclair, etc.) on a fired case, then adjust the die to bump the shoulder .002-.003" to minimize case stretch.

I would set your FL die to just touch the shoulder of a fired case in your rifle, should be set to go.
