Cant believe it but seems like you might be even better, younger looking today than some odd years ago! Next time I come to Texas I’ll be a pal and have her show me around to the gun shops so you can rest up some

Doug, I have a bad feeling that although your' thread is still gaining momentum, it is running out of tracks to keep it in line!

BCB, please tell that little lady I said hello. And, be careful reloading on the beach. You know that sand gets EVERYWHERE!!!

Default Not small caliber

[IMG][/IMG]

It isn't Montdoug's bear and it isn't small caliber. Took a bunch of Boy Scouts on a 50 mile hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. After about four days, the ground squirrels start to look pretty tasty. Had to shoot them in the head with a .41 magnum or you didn't have to skin or clean them - but there wasn't much to eat either. I hadn't laughed so hard in a long time watching those boys try to figure out how to gut and skin a gopher. Finally took pity on them and helped. Cooked in foil on the coals with wild onions, it's pretty good, but I about died laughing again when I watched them fighting over the "drumsticks" only to see they still had paws and claws on them! Didn't put them off at all. Had to shoot a half dozen more the next day so they could each have their own.

Goodness sakes, IF not shaving gathers up such cuties I'm swearing off
shaving again!!

Long time ago while Dad and his buddy loaded hay bales I used the '06 and shot 19 1/2 cottontails. At least that's where the count ended up that day.
Kinda resembles that squirrel. Best if they end up headless.
