This blond is a Winslow Bushmaster Custom. The action is an FN Supreme in 243 caliber. The scope is the original Bushnell Bolivar 3x9.http://www.saubier.com/forum/picture...&pictureid=771.
Some of you may remember when the inlays were a status symbol ( this one is ivory the gun was made in 1965)

The mountain in the background is Pikes Peak. About 35 to 40 miles as the crow flies.

Rider,

you've almost got it. Instead of pasting the image link directly into your text, copy the image like, come back to your text box and hit the little yellow icon that looks like a mountain. A box will pop up. Paste your link in the box and hit ok.

That's a beautiful stick of maple.

Snow on the peak, when?

Thanks! Nice background for that fine rifle.

For you guys in the "flat lands".
This is what Rider and many us have for a view all the time
when the sky is clear. Just about due south 100miles from this peak,
is the Spanish Peaks. Then all along between them to the west are
forested mtns much lower. In all, there's four that have snow on them
much of the year within sight.
Further away than Mt Doug's place from his local hills.
