I always thought the side adjustment was a focus adjustment and not the parallax adjustment. Larry

Default 221 FB scope

I have a Leu 4-12X A/O on my 221 and 17 FB guns. They are both used for coyote calling ( along with other 17,20 and 22 centerfires) and I really never mess with the A/O. When calling coyotes, I set it at 150 and kill them. Am I 1/4 inch off at 75 and 210 yards, probably but plenty close enough for a coyote. I do adjust my A/O a lot when shooting PDs ate 50 - 400 yards.
