Default New Years Eve

Who is going to shoot New years Eve? To me it seems like a good time to ventilate a few targets. I will go to my club tomorrow morning, shoot and get off the road before the craziness starts. I hope all of you, your families and pets have a GREAT NEW YEAR!!

Used to have a neighbor next door that fired his
.54 M/L off in the air at midnight then went to bed.
Just paper wadding, no slug.

Couple years ago I had the stupid idea too. Used a .45 Colt
and didn't want the slug to go astray so fired into the trunk
of my big tree up high.

Damned if it didn't bleed sap juice for two years. Even after
I plugged the hole.

Once was enough: lesson learned

A friend of mine fires his 12 G at midnight to shoot the new year in.

sounds like war at my house. Neighbors set tannerite out with glow sticks then unload any and everything they have. Wakes me up every year.

Default New Year’s Eve noise

Around my house, snoring is all you’ll hear at midnight. Have not been up that late on New Year’s Eve since 2000.

My neighbors had a big happy party going for a while. It got quiet at about 10PM, I think they passed out! I hope everyone had a safe Holiday!
