Default Ggvg

I’ve been a member fo many years. Have bought and sold there with good results.
Seems like it’s been dying a slow death for a few years.
Just not much activity and often what is posted is weather conditions or non gun/hunting related.
At one time it was a great forum.

I've seen that site go from quite popular in the mid to late 90's, to a dying whisper now.

When it changed owners and all passwords were nil and void, it became a continuing hassle to log on or stay logged on with cryptic administrator assigned passwords. Because of all the inconvenience, most users bailed for greener, more shooting-related sites instead of daily weather reports from folks in the boonies.

I'm certain this site gained some of the refugees from GGVG.

Some of the old timers, so to speak, are still hanging on it. You must just work around the others and read the decent/hunting/shooting posts. Bill K

I totally agree with what Bill K said. The change in ownership, the password fiasco and some technical screw-ups, created made lots of folks leave. I believe some have gone over to both Accurate Shooter, Facebook and a few other forums.

I never heard of that site but Accurateshooter.com is over 40,000 members.

The first thing that happened was the "good morning calls" (which many people objected to) when it was Go Go Varmint Go. The management condoned and endorsed this. Eventually, the "Good Morning Calls" became rampant and the valuable content decreased. This drove hard core reloaders/shooters away, leaving the "Good Morning" callers. Eventually, there was a security breach causing many of the remaining users to "get Scoped, Vertically". This event drove away many or most of the remaining hard core shooters, varmint hunters and reloaders, who were the valuable posters that drove the site. Go Go Varmint Go used to be the premier site for varmint hunters to post valuable content and get help. No longer is this true.

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.
