Default Unusual Rechamber

Alan,

That seems like an unusual conversion your friend elected.....17AH to traditional 17 Hornet. Do you know what his reasoning was in attempting the fix? Rick

I collected the rifle last night so I hope to have some pics for you soon, Just read the posts up to now very interesting thanks to all who gave me some where to start, My plan was to start just of the lands so that made me feel a bit better and I also have a little 1680 left but also a tub and a half Vit 120 so should be good to go, what sort of speed should I be looking for ? I've 20grain VMAX to load, he has told me the problem he had would be a 6 shot group, 4 touching and 2 fliers may be to inch and a half from the group, he tried all sorts but couldn't stop this, but I think he never loaded touching the lands and didn't take the speed above 3600 I think.

Alan.

N120 works pretty well in my 17AH, and we can usually get it in the UK.
