Beautiful little Kimber!
If it shoots as good as my 308, you'll be pleased |

Very pretty stick.
Hope it shoots as well, let's see the target once you get there.

If I could keep only one big game rifle in a standard factory cartridge for North America (excluding Alaska), it would be a 257 Roberts ( I just hope that I never have to do that as I"m not sure I could live without a 7MM Rem Mag or a 338 Win Mag)).
I've had at least one Roberts for years, and I will never give the cartridge up completely. I currently have one in the Kimber "ugly step-sister" rifle - the stainless and synthetic stocked Montana. It is an excellent shooter. Years ago I skipped lunch, and a few other things affecting only me, for over a year and I had a full custom rifle built in 257 AI. It adds a bit more punch to the Roberts and I love it. But the Roberts by itself is no slouch. As for Kimber rifles with nice wood, I have a few of those too and they are nice to look at. And to a gun, they are all very good shooters for hunting purposes (3-shot groups) with their light barrel configurations. -BCB
