Beautiful little Kimber!

If it shoots as good as my 308, you'll be pleased

Very pretty stick.

Hope it shoots as well, let's see the target once you get there.

If I could keep only one big game rifle in a standard factory cartridge for North America (excluding Alaska), it would be a 257 Roberts ( I just hope that I never have to do that as I"m not sure I could live without a 7MM Rem Mag or a 338 Win Mag)).

I've had at least one Roberts for years, and I will never give the cartridge up completely. I currently have one in the Kimber "ugly step-sister" rifle - the stainless and synthetic stocked Montana. It is an excellent shooter.

Years ago I skipped lunch, and a few other things affecting only me, for over a year and I had a full custom rifle built in 257 AI. It adds a bit more punch to the Roberts and I love it. But the Roberts by itself is no slouch.

As for Kimber rifles with nice wood, I have a few of those too and they are nice to look at. And to a gun, they are all very good shooters for hunting purposes (3-shot groups) with their light barrel configurations.
