I checked that out for a member last fall and it's a UPS store that never heard of Arron Davis.

I tracked him to Donnelsville Ohio and another address. That was the address

of the USpost office in Donnelsville.

I can't remember the member I was checking for.
He just wanted his scope back.

Hopefully he will see this and bring us up to date. Kenny

As an afterthought, I might be nice to have some recent transactions
of Mr. Davis.
Or even a physical address.
Maybe he don't like visitors.

I have bought parts from Parson's, great service and reasonable prices. He has been in the business at least 30 years. I know he repairs them as well. It is who I would use.

I did get the scope repaired and returned.
Was a good repair, and am happy with it.
He does know Unertls.
I understand He had some serious family medical problems that affected his turn around time.

I mailed a M.O. to Aaron Davis 17 SO. Hampton RD, box 234
Donnelsville OH, 45319-0234. He got it O.K. at that address.
Yes I am satisfied with the repair.The scope was an expensive ( for me)
Programmer 200.
Once He got the Med thing taken care of the wait time was reasonable.
Probably best to call him and ask about turn around.

I bought an old Unertl scope that had a drooping horizontal wire in the reticle. I was always afraid of loosing the anti-fog charge, but then a more enlightened guy told me not to worry about such, guess they never had any in some of their scopes.

So I took the rear of the scope apart and removed the part that houses the reticle. Four screws and some fine wire, mine was just a crosshair type, not a dot etc.

So as usual in most things first time around, I did not know what to use for the reticle material. I used a human hair, and once in place, the crosshair looked like two telephone poles. I tried a lot of things, all were way, way too big. Finally I noticed an old pair of dress socks with some of the fine elastic hanging out, that stretched across the screws worked nicely, not a true fine but a long ways from a medium crosshair. Still is in place, so cannot complain too much. I thought perhaps color of the material might be an issue, but appeared black like I wanted; just one of those mysteries.

If I had to do it over again, I think I would lay out the 20 bucks or so for 10 feet of some of the 0005 or 0015 tungsten wire that a guy sells on Ebay. That would be more better for the do it yourselfer as the old cook used to say.
