Default ? for those with 19 cal Calhoon's, in Ca.

What are you guys and gals with 19 caliber's in any of Calhoon's cz's or rifles chambered as such, going to shoot or find 19 cal lead free bullets, after July-2019 to be legal and shoot any animals in this Commie state of Kalifornia ? Bill K

I have a Corbin draw die and will try to size down some .204" bullets when I have a chance. Looks like these are my 3 choices.

Nosler 32 grain Ballistic tips (lead free)
Hornady 24 grain NTX
Barnes 26 grain Varmint Grenades.

More than likely I will just shoot what I already have... Got too many to switch now. Lol

If you don't have a draw die, let me know and you could borrow mine to try it. I believe I am all loaded up for the year...Jay

If I were younger and the wife was not in her disabled condition (Parkinson's) I would also, like a couple of my close friends did.
But I will stick to my mountain in N.E. Kalifornia and shoot lead free, for the most part. Bill K

Best thing I ever did was leave Kalifornia. That was 28yrs ago, wish I'd left 10yrs sooner.

Just out of curiosity has anyone ever actually been checked for lead vs lead free and do they search all of your gear looking for leaded ammo. Is it leagal to own leaded if you don't shoot it?

You can own it and use it for target shooting but not for hunting.
