Ruger Forums: One defunct?

I can't seem to recover my password because I may not now own the email I signed up with.
I can't contact a moderator,/administrator, because that requires login.

I can't find a start new account page. Can anyone else find a way to open a new account?

I guess the moderator may have disabled new member registration. This was on the FAQ:

» Why can’t I register?
It is possible the website owner has banned your IP address or disallowed the username you are attempting to register. The website owner could have also disabled registration to prevent new visitors from signing up. Contact a board administrator for assistance.

I'm not a member to this Ruger forum. Do you have the administrator's email so you can send a request? I did that for a different forum that I had issues when they upgraded the security - couldn't login or change account password until the administrator reset my account. I emailed him outside the forum. That took weeks due to the many emails administrators deal with but eventually it worked.

The keyword above (I read the FAQ) is "possible". I believe the FAQ to be lifted from the Software that is used to run the board and not the rules specific to that owner/administrator/site.

I'm not a member to this Ruger forum. Do you have the administrator's email so you can send a request?

Well shucks. That is certainly frustrating. The only way I got the other forum to work is because I saved the administrators email in a note outside the forum and was able to contact him. Otherwise - same issue, had to log in to contact the administrator. I'm at a loss.... :-(

Tried appending the 'register' mode and this was the response from the bbd: "Creating a new account is currently not possible."

I tried to find an account creation place on the website while at work, a totally different IP than what I would have ever used to visit the page with. I found no way to create a new account, and the same newest user listed on the bottom of the page when I first posted this, still is today.

Thank you for the update Danny. I guess we are not getting in. On the another Ruger forum, 204Ruger, the same thing happened to my account. I was unable to get the system and the 'captcha' to work with my known account and password. I see the new member request is also gone on that site too. I gave up.

I guess it is the same bbd server software and/or same administrator. Oh well - this site really has all the support I need for small cal and varmint stuff.

Can you post a link for the account registration page that you have found?

I can't find the account registration page. It might have been disabled by the site owner to prevent new sign-ups. I checked the member list and there have been no new member registrations since June 5, 2018. FAQ section advises you contact a Board Administrator.

Thanks for the help. I noticed that the site is working, and that for the last week or so, the same person is listed as the newest member, then you list that the last new member was added long ago, and you also can't find a registration page. Here is my problem. I can't go through password recovery for some reason. I also can't contact an administrator without logging on.
