They both recommended buying a Calhoun Single Shot Magazine, if I had to single load any of my CZ 527 rifles. Calhoun makes single shot magazines for CZ 527 Rifles in 22 Hornet, 17 rem, and 223`s.

I load both my CZs in this manner on the way to every coyote stand with no ill effects.

I do have one CZ 527 with a magazine, I use for coyote's.

I have another four or five 527's I shoot single.

I use a piece of delrin to throw the cartridge in and close the bolt to chamber the round.

I have yet to have a problem with the extractor.

I sure am sorry to find out the extractor will soon break in all my rifles.

I am going to have a hard time going to sleep, worrying about those rifles.
