Default 17 HMR & Coyote

Keeping the shots with in 100 yards the CZ American 455 in 17 HMR and the 17 tipped puts them down. Four called in today and some stands and at two setups took two. Dropped them right in their tracks, lung/chest shots. Bill K

(photo's in my album, Mom, by the way sat in the Dodge, while I walked around and all)

I just can not seem to post photo's in the post, but I can and did in my album, in the community listed above in header, go to Bill's Neighborhood and check it out, the one at least and the rifle. Bill K

Glad the 17 HMR works on coyotes for you. I sold mine cause I was having too many "crawl offs" on PDs.

Interesting, my shooting partner and I both carry ours as back up/short range (100 yrds) second rifle for ground squirrels and rockchucks when they are within the 100yrd or less range, beyond that we use a couple 20 calibers.
When hit square with the 17 hmr all they do, for us, is do cartwheels and/or blow into pieces, never have any crawl or skoot off. Bill K

Nice coyote Bill. I like your 20 Practical rifle.

Bill, I'm a computer dummy but from the sticky on posting pictures, it's pretty easy posting pictures from your Saubier photo album. Took me about 15 minutes of trial & error.

I like my 20 Practical now even more so, since I had it re-chambered to the 40 degree AI version.
As too the photo post. I have played all over the place and just can not seem to get it done, Someone will have to come up to my place and show this PC dummy how it is done. Bill K
