that time of year again...
I have a salt lick out back about 75 yards from the door. I usually only see does this time of year, but back in June I noticed a couple bucks hanging around, and surprisingly, they're still here from time to time.
Here's one nice young buck, either 2.5 or 3.5, I can't tell. This is an interesting set of photos that show 7 weeks of antler growth. He's going to be a whopper if he makes it to next year. I have a treestand within shooting distance of this spot, but he gets a pass this year if I see him. I haven't seen either of these 2 since June, but they both should have put on a lot of bone since then. |

Charlie, you got your own time-lapse thing going on there! Pretty neat pictures, amazing how far these trail cams have come.

Yes, Dunstan Chestnut. Third year growing there. It was barely at the top of the tube when I planted it. I had a second out of frame but it died. Need to replace it so they pollinate.

That time of the year again...
It is that time of the year, coming up. Chasing bucks in the woods, etc. Enjoy the time lapse photo's, antlers are so much fun to see growing like that. You should get one or so for the freezer and food supply. Bill K

big boy showed up
Haven't laid eyes on this one and didn't even know he was there. First trail cam pull of the year at this spot. Couple small bucks and this guy. Wish I had more/better pics. Dont know if he's an 8 or a 10. But without a doubt he's a shooter!

Wow look at the belly on that old Buck. Hope to see some photos with you holding those Horns.
I got a Bear Tag for NJ this year. Be hunting up in Stokes this year and am taking no chances on one wanting to kill me and then have to make excuses why I shot it without a tag. Charlie that Buck is heavy and I think it's a ten. Bruiser. Good luck.

The difference on that buck 140s as an eight and the 160s as a ten.
Verry nice buck either way. Kenny
