My JAB 20 was what I got when I wanted a TAC 20 and the smith didn't have a TAC 20 reamer. It looks like one.

Its a 223 case necked down in a shorted 204 ruger fl die which pushes the shoulder back 30 thou and gives the 204 shoulder angle and a longer neck.

All the internet data I found said 10x would give the fastest velocity.

I didn't try any other powder as it gives 3800fps with the 39sbk. From memory its 23.9gn. if its relevant to your 20 prac I'll turn on the chargemaster and check for you

It's a CZ 527
t sounds like we are shooting the same case, just coming at it from different directions.
I formed a .223 case in the .204 die so as to have .65 thousands headspace
instead of the factory 1/4".
I then cut enough off the end of the barrel so the dummy case fit snug in the 204 chamber. Cut the 204 die and reamed the neck since the .223 case is much heavier than the 204. The case has a 222 neck length. I ream the neck so the stem does not
make contact on the inside.

I load with the 204 die. I have been shooting one of thes rifles for 10 year
and sold one. It cut my capacity some but it does't seem I lost much if any performance. Kenny

2nd post on this. I now your were asking about RE powder. But, I just got done with H-335 and 40 gr. Vmaxs. All I can say is, you gotta try H-335.

Default 20 Practical

I have shot thousands of rounds through several 20P barrels using 4198, H335 and Benchmark. H335 meters well and provides good velocity/accuracy but it is more temp sensitive than 4198 or Benchmark. If you shoot in a wide range of temps I suggest avoiding H335

Well, I'm pretty much set on H335. But, I do have some 4198 and Benchmark. Never say never!!
