Default Movie Review - Wind River

It was raining in Houston/Cypress earlier today, so the wife and I went to an afternoon movie that a friend had said was good.

It is very good, IMO........... Wife liked it too. Some graphic scenes and violence but it's a very good movie. Set in the Wind River/Lander area of Wyoming.

Haven't seen the trailer that I recall. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

ETA...yes I did, never paid attention to it. Looks like not too many of the usual "Hollywood pukes" are in it.

Anybody ever drive thru the Wind River canyon and notice as you go south, all downhill, the river runs north. Very perplexing.

The only actor I recognized as having been in a specific movie from the past was the Medicine Man from Dances With Wolves. He's in it.

Both M/F leads have pretty good credits for past stuff along with a few other recognizable faces that I couldn't tie to any specific movie, but overall it's a very good movie.

BTW - the female lead is much better looking than her two older twin sisters..........

I thought the female lead was one of the Olsen twins?

Yessir, I noticed. It's not the only one, as the Deschutes River runs right through central Oregon, and it runs north from the middle of the state all the way to the Columbia River at the Oregon/Washington border, roughly 150 miles.

But do you mean "uphill"? As far as I know, the Romans were the first ones to figure out how to do that. Smart buggers, eh?

I'll be checking out the Wind River movie also.....but on BluRay eventually...haven't been inside a theater since my wife got sick from some fool behind us 20 years ago.

Default Is THIS shooting related???

I've had some feedback about such posts.
Thought I'd ask this time before the fan starts.

I was waiting for that.............. The first of many shots fired in the movie, but the only coyote that was killed. Unless I missed one when I was reaching for more popcorn.
