Default Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I know many travel for the Holiday week, and hope to catch most before you travel.

This has been a great, although EXPENSIVE website to hang out at, and I applaud you-all for the civility and friendship I have seen and received. This is the best website for information, and friendship.

I also want to share my thanks to you service members, past and present for your service to God and Country. I can't express my thanks to you through words as well as I would like, but your service is appreciated by many more than actually say it to you, trust me.

I spent a lot of time traveling in the last 3 years of my work Career at Sacramento Int'l, Chicago and Rochester NY airports and tried to connect with service members to express this as well, and I was dissapointed a couple of times hearing the few hadn't hear the thanks much. It hit me close 7 years ago when a friend of mine and my son's lost his life, and another lost a leg.

From this 57 year old , who never served, Thank you.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and safe travels.

Allen

merry Christmas everyone. thought I was going to get a bag full of coal for Christmas as I have been naughty. was looking forward to it in fact. it's been cold and I was going to burn them to warm up the house. as luck would have it Christmas day will be in the high 50's.
all I wanted for Christmas was my ambition from my youth back. just couldn't convince my self to get out of my warm bed, go into the cold damp woods and shoot a stinky deer with my xp-100 6br (it's alternative methods season here in Missouri), but this evening is another story.

To ALL my Saubier brethren, no matter where in the world you are, my absolute BEST WISHES for a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and prosperous New Year. May each and every one of you have Joy, Health and Love fill your lives this holiday season, and throughout the coming New Year.

December 2nd I was diagnosed with bladder cancer and went through TURBT surgery on the 15th which removed 8 tumors. The biopsy from the surgery indicated that it was high grade (aggressive) so I will begin BCG Therapy Jan 9th. All this has put me behind a bit for the holidays, BUT I am feeling well and looking forward with hope to many good years yet ahead. Best regards to all, Charlie
