Default 30-40 Krag Brass WTB

Might be a long shot but I finally picked an old 1898 Karg, now to find some brass, anyone have any laying around?

Bob,
GunBot has loaded ammo for $1.65 per round, if you get really desperate.

Default Don't forget...

The .30/40 Krag and .303 British are of same vintage. Very similar. I have never considered reforming .303 to .30/40 but if you are desparate. Lots of .303 around. Additionally, the .405 Winchester is a longer, straighter version of the case on same rim. Reforming them would be a chore but if you are desparate. LUCK. Happy Trails.

I saw a ten or twelve boxes of Remington 30-40 Krag ammo last June at a sporting goods store in Ohio. My buddy needed brass / ammo for his 30-40 Krag rifle, he called them and they were more than happy to sell him 4-boxes and send them to him via UPS.

Grafs now offers their own 30-40 Krag brass for $0.85/piece. It's expensive but as you probably know, It's been selling for almost twice that lately for fired brass.
