Must have taken some hours to straighten that house to how it looks now.
What is the slim white thing sticking up on the far right of the first picture?

Looks much more friendly terrain than what I experienced. I'm envious.

It sure did Ken, I decided to sell when the medical issues got bigger but the purchaser was a pain to deal with so I pulled out. Good thing in the long run, never make a big decsion when your crook.

Heading up over the weekend for a week or so

I am in Victoria, Orbost right on the coast but the hideaway is 2 hours north into the hills

Spent a couple months mostly up Cape York. Wanted to get to Victoria and SA but ran out of time and money.

Different from over the ditch Ivan, but I know where I would sooner be, I made a terrible decision in coming back here. That's not bagging Australia, its just N.Z. was the place for me, I had a great area stiched up so well, trout at my back door etc etc.

Hell of a is when we make the wrong decisions it's usually way too late to change back to where we were.
