Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. Running trail cams to me is a lot like trapping, never know what you will get exactly, better yet, I don't have to skin anything!

BTW, I had a salt block sitting on that stump last year, it's long gone, but they still come lick the stump to catch the residue I guess. It's a good tool for a guy to see exactly what he's got roaming around.

Old Kalifornia is so anti-hunt and the F&W commission is getting worse all the time, so there fore it against the law for us to place salt, bait, etc. for the wild critters. BUT you can set up around the salt licks ranchers place around the crazing areas ( til F&W outlaws that) and see animals, other than the cattle, as wildlife, does like their sodium Bill K

No need for Trail Cams around my house. I see the does and fawns and if the flowers are trimmed, they've been there. If it's GREEN, it's gone!
Even got Elk trimming the Apple trees.
Strange droppings in the yard Step out around midnight, Mag Lite in hand, see 4 BIG Elk Cows doing the number on the lower branches of the Apple Tree.
Game trail runs thru our place so around here, expect anything.

I also have the means BUT, the Game Warden lives two houses away.
I can always buy more flowers.
