Thanks for sharing Chad. Once again proving you and Gus are a coyote’s worst nightmare. Very encouraging results on Reed’s bullets as well.

Default Added samples 12.16.17

Thanks again guys!!

Jim, its been a weird winter. No snow and warm. It was muddy out again today.

I added three more samples today. I shot a fourth, but it got down a hole. It was weird since it folded up hard at the shot, thought it was stone dead.

It was still pretty dark when I walked into the first spot. I sat down and it wasn't quite light enough to see much with the bare eye, so i was scanning with the binos and spotted two coyotes charging in! They must have seen my little black dog, Frankie. I shot the first coyote at at 108 yards quartering to me. The bullet caught the shoulder blade and made a half dollar sized entrance, but put the coyote down. The second coyote kept coming and gave me a frontal shot, pretty much standing on top of the first dead coyote.

Cant hardly fault the bullet on this one. Female on left, nice big male on right.

Second stand I lost the coyote I shot down a hole, Stands 3 and 4 were duds. The fifth and final stand I shot a real pretty pale female quartering to at 125 yards. Just a dribble of red on her blouse.

thanks for the report Chad. I'm getting close to being in need of some 30 gr. bullets for my 17/204, so going to be paying close attention to reports like this for the near future. Depending on if Chan gets going with more production, or the new guy with Kindler's old equipment, or these Reeds. By next season, I'll be in need.

I see some barbed wire in your pics. If you've never done it before, I'll let ya know a guy can wire a coyote out of a hole. Just push the wire down in the hole until it reaches the coyote. Twist the wire a few times so it grabs his fur and pull him out. Just that easy. If they're still lively, it can be a bit more tricky. Just FYI

We use barbed wire to make hole and culvert retrieves. Snake it in, twist the wire up and pull the coyote,Fox or raccoon out.

Thanks for the wire top TR and coyotespotter. I'll keep that one in mind.

Hal - I really enjoy the suppressor for the hearing protection for me and my dogs. My red dog is pretty deaf , but he's nearly 8 years old now. It likely helps somewhat for getting coyotes, but not like you would think. I killed five on one stand years ago with no suppressor.

Silverfox you are probably still swing the golf clubs with the nice weather!

I'm home sick today with the crud. I've been fighting it for a few days and it finally wore me down.

Anyway here's a couple pictures to compare the Nagel T-000 30 grain bullet to the Reed RBBT 30 grainer. Everybody likes pictures, right?!

Nagel on left / Reed on right
