Great pics and great write up. Just curious are you using a traditional camera or a smartphone camera?

Chad--Sorry to hear you got the crud. That can be real tough to shake off, so I hope you get rid of it quickly.
I haven't been out doing any golfing and, unfortunately, I haven't been out doing any hunting either. The little fall I took into the pavement with my face on December 2, 2017, messed up my back again. I wonder if my back will ever get back to normal???? In 30 minutes I'll be up at the 20/20 building for more physical therapy and I also have an appointment with a neurologist on February 12, 2018--the earliest I could get in.

Looks like the Reed RBBT30, has a lot less bearing surface. Should stabilize out of a 10 twist a lot better.
There is quite a difference in the hole size ! Interesting ! You can't place that bullet perfect EVERY time ! Good shootin Chad ! Jim PS. Keep playing your cards right with the weather ! We're in for Snow Thursday. |

Five stands this morning and just one coyote to show for it. 100 yard frontal shot. Dropped without a twitch.

Great job!
I might have to give those a go. I have a question regarding the lice, Ive seen mangey coyotes before which is a mite infestation. I've not seen or heard of lice before. Can you tell me more?

The short of it is sarcoptic mange is a burrowing mite while this is a canine chewing lice. Both are common in coyotes. I've seen way more lice here than mange in the last 6 or 7 years. Lice infestations are typically on the top of the shoulders and neck. They are macroscopric, so you can see the adults if you look close. With lice, the under fur will be in tact but the guard hairs will be missing. I suppose with the itching, they scratch and roll, which breaks down the guard hairs. Both bugs eat fur checks.
