Default New way to make 17 AH brass

I was tired of fire forming 17 AH brass...so I bought some 19 Calhoon brass from James Calhoon and ran it through my 17 AH case forming dies and then the full length sizer...ready for loading and no fire forming!

Those wrinkled cases shoot as good the first time as they do after.
Fireforming as a separate operation was never needed. Kenny

There's just not much too loading for the 17AH. Cases are thin but act super tough [WW brass]. Keep your bolt action bolt lugs clean and lubricated, and you'll "cam" in any slightly oversize case.
This round is just about perfect in all ways. Maybe a rimless version [some think the 17 PeeWee is that round] would be a tad nicer but until then...
