I heard that.
Guys at the range are always telling me, "my Brand-X is just as good".
My standard answer is, "maybe, but untill it's better, I'll stick with my Luppys".

Good deal.
Hey Jim, how about a picture of the scope now?
that leave's a lot of us out as we can't post 'em or don't have a way
to do so. Still, that's a good idea and even I appreciate them for doing so.

Default example of a picture

Picture taken while in WY on a prairie dog hunt with my father and 2 brothers. Also met up with Dan C and Skypilot while out there. This was the trip of a lifetime creating memories for us all that will never be forgotten. This particular gun was given to me by the membership here, once owned by Mtngoat and Dan C. It is a Cooper Model 21 chambered for 17MachIV with a Leupold fixed 12x power scope with holdover dots installed that correspond to the rifles pet load.

I guess I'm out. The LR/T Leupold's don't have a gold ring...

These pictures were taken in the Eastern Cape of South Africa in the summer of 2000. The top animal is a Springbuck. It was taken with a custom 98 Mauser in 338 Win Mag. The scope is a Leupold Vari XIII 3.5-10x50. I fell with this rifle while I had it slung over my shoulder. I was walking down the side of a mountain that seemed to be made of nothing but baseball sized rocks. The scopes eyepiece took a direct hit. A rock crushed the edge of it in towards the glass. The next morning I checked the zero and it was off about two inches. After two more shots and some adjustments it was dialed in. I went on to take several more animals with it during the trip. I was going to send it in for repair but the damage was only cosmetic so I decided to leave it as is. The bottom animal is a Blesbuck. It was taken with a Remington Model 7 in 308. The scope is a Leupold Vari XIII 3.5-10x50.

This picture was taken two or three years ago in Wood South Dakota during our yearly prairie dog shoot. The gun is a Remington 504T in .17 hmr and the scope is a 3.5x10 VXIII Leupold . I'll have to look for some others.
(Crap I just reread the rules no gold ring )

Default As long as the scope can be identified as a Leupold.

I am fine with pictures that don't exactly show the gold ring, so long as it can be identified clearly as a leupold in the picture.
