Default Coyote meets 17 Javelina

I went out late tonight approximately 4:00 pm. Set up on a previous stand that has produced before. 15 minutes of FoxPro using Woodpecker and Rodent distress calls and a large female coyote came sneaking in. She would not step into the clearing. As she turned around to go away she did the coyote pause and look back in a shooting lane at 75 yds. One 30gr Kindler Gold in front of 20.5 gr of H4895 dropped her instantly.
Rifle is a custom Sako L461 with PacNor 26" fluted SS barrel.
I would add a photo but difficult as usual on this site.

Bob

I have shot numerous one's, with the 17's, from the 17HMR to the 17 Fire Ball. Solid lung/heart shot puts them DOA. with the bullet placed in the spot and within the given range of the size of the cartridge.
Could also post a few photos, but this site is a bear to load a photo into, for me anyway. Other than in the coummuity section.

Default Great job...

Nice shooting! The 17Javelina is an awesome round for coyotes.
I myself have shot a few with the 27 grain Kindler and really like Todd’s bullets for that purpose.Would love to see the pic,but understand and think as I get older things that were once easy are getting more complicated than they need to.

The easiest way to post pics is to use a 3rd party hosting service. I use Imgur...it's easy and free. -Al

Not a 17 Javelina, but a 17 Rem.

This one features a dead Coyote.

imgur is easy to use.

I like your .17 better every time you post it.
I sure would like to find a Kimber montana in .17 Remington, 204, or .223.

Al

What are your two white rifles.
