For what one has to pay for Norma brass, there should be no such thing as a bad batch. Same goes for Lapua.

Harold, clearly it is the gun. It has been used too much and has become unsafe. Being the kind of guy I am, I will make myself available to come pick it up and dispose of it for you...
Glad to hear you are getting at it again! Snert |

Sounds like quality control has gone downhill. I would ream/clean up every primer pocket so they are equal and that should solve the issue with primer seating. Bill K

Harold have you considered swaging the prime pockets instead of reaming the pockets.

A reaming tool or a swaging tool, both do the same job of making them uniform. Bill K

Like Bill, I have and use both methods. I like to uniform flash holes and primer pocket depth but prefer not to remove metal on the primer pockets sides. I hate to have carry all the old military brass I've reamed since the 60's though.

So many of us, I bet, if we could count and say get just $ .02 per round we have de-crimped of military brass, would have a good income, I believe Bill K ( Think I started doing it in around 1953 when I started reloading) |
