That's a Remington XP-100 chambered in 284win. I've got a few different ones to choose from but that particular one is the lightest I've built. I'm shooting 142gr Lehigh controlled chaos bullets.

Awesome pics. Thanks for posting. Have to say I'm envious though.

I've had 6 xp's but I didn't recognize the stock. Where did you get the stock and the bipod setup? Could you post a little better pic? I have a machine shop and might get some ideas from your setup. Also, what scope are you using?

I built the whole rig, including the stock and bipod. I'll see if I have a better picture of the stock somewhere. I wouldn't build another like it.

Default Wonderful pictures Aaron...

The only way it could be better is when you can bring along your sons.
What a great way to build memories.Bet the 7mm Dakota is a bit heavier
Perhaps a group picture of all your XP’s would be nice,do you have a wide angle lens for your camera

Matt,
I bet you've got more than I do. Think I only have 6 or so. They are all switch barrels so I have a pile of barrels and can shoot a bunch of different cartridges.

The centergrip Dakota is about double the weight of that 284. Gonna see if we can get Henry out there this spring for a black bear and maybe try for an alpine buck in August.
