Are these any more explosive on prairie dogs than the Vmax?
I ask because I have enough Vmaxs to wear out this 17Remington barrel.
Hey, they don’t eat or crap on the floor.

They work good for pd's, but in total, less explosive.

These 25 grain HP bullets make for great coyote bullets compared to the VMax, IMO. I've used them since the mid 1970's and I have never had a bad experience using them on coyotes.

Just on Midway's site. Now are sale priced @ $45 per 500 box. Should have enough to last through next barrel now!

Ordered 500 from midway Mon pm.
UPS says they’ll be here Thursday.
And they will be used for coyotes.

been using the 25 gr hornady, old design and new since the late 70"s. has taken more than it's share of coyotes and fox. could be a little destructive on fox when the velocity exceeded 3500 fps.
my 17/233 was a .25" shooter with the old design right up until i ran out of the 4000 i had, when it became a 2.5" shooter and then a 10" shooter. then again no rifling for 10" down the barrel will do that.
